Pirate party games for the family
July 21st, 2011 | family games | No Comments »Pin on an eye patch
Get ready for this game by obtaining a Pirate Face and sticky Eye patches
The best known version of this is pin the tail on the donkey. Traditional games are best because they are easy to play. I our game you need to draw a pirate face – a circle will do, and using eye patches with sticky backing. Now the aim is to stick the eye patch on the Pirate’s face. This is easier than getting pirates costumes.
I you feel so inclined draw and colour the pirate body and legs.

Pirate’s Peg Leg
For this game you will need access to some music.
It is similar to musical statues, an easy game to set up making it great as a last minute time filler. What you do is play music as the pirates dance a jig, and when the music stops, the pirates have to stand on one leg. Whoever topples, loses.
What is yer Name?
You will need a pirate Name Sticker for everyone.
Make a few pirate themed names up – one for each child, and place them in a bag or container so as each person arrives they pick one at random. As names are picked, write them on a sheet and pass out the name sticker. The player must be called by their Pirate name for the rest of the party. You score the ‘mistakes’ and the pirate(s) making the fewest wins a prize – this keeps the fun going for the entire party.
Where lies the Treasure?
To get ready to play this game , hide some treasure (maybe chocolate money) and a Pirate Map.
Link a treasure hunt to your invites to help the game be successful – you can arrange a fun treasure hunt in your area. Before the start, hide some treasure around your house so each guest will find something.
